Dear Sir,

We refer to your request dated 5 August 2022 in which you make a request
for access to documents, registered on 16 August 2022 under the above
mentioned reference number.

Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expires today, 6 September 2022.

2022

Dear Health and Food Safety,

Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.

I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Documents related to January 2019 changes to novel food catalogue entries for cannabidiol and cannabinoids'.

On 5 August 2022, I filed a request for certain information related to the changes to the EU Novel Food Catalogue entries for cannabidiol and cannabinoids. After some correspondence regarding my postal address, DG SANTE acknowledged receipt of my request on 16 August 2022, and confirmed that the time limit for handling my request would expire on 6 September 2022.

On 6 September 2022, DG SANTE stated that they would not be in a position to meet the time limit for handling my request and extended the time limit to 27 September 2022.

That time limit expired approximately two weeks ago. I have not received any further communication from DG SANTE. I wish to have my original request fulfilled as soon as practicable.

A full history of my request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: http://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/docum...

Yours faithfully,

Seán Finan
