Per Hellstrom and sabbatical

The request was partially successful.

Dear Human Resources and Security (HR),

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as
developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting all documents which relate to Per Hellstrom and his move from the European Commission to Apple on sabbatical.

In particular, I request a note of all Mr Hellstrom's job titles at the European Commission, including dates held; copies of any and all application(s) that Mr Hellstrom has made under the Staff Regulations to undertake a sabbatical; and all correspondence, emails or meeting notes related to the authorisation of, and conditions placed on, this new role.

Yours faithfully,

Vicky Cann

Dear Human Resources and Security (HR),

Thanks. I am unable to see or read any text in red on your reply but I have checked with the managers of the site and they say that an apostrophe in my original request may have been unreadable by the computer and instead has translated it into some random letters and numbers. So I think that, in that case, you can ignore them. The request relates simply to Per Hellstrom.

I hope this clarifies. Thanks

Yours faithfully,

Vicky Cann

Dear Madam,

We refer to your e-mail dated 24 February 2014 in which you make a request
for access to documents, registered on the same day under the above
mentioned reference number.

Your application is currently being handled. However, we were not in a
position to complete the handling of your application by 14 March 2014. An
extended time limit is needed because the application requires additional
time for follow up.

Therefore, we must extend the time limit by a further 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 7 April 2014.

We apologise for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.

Yours faithfully,
