Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting the documents identified as SJ-0501/11 and SJ-0661/11.

Dear Mr Wehrmeyer,

We acknowledge receipt of your request. You will receive a reply within 15 working days.

It would facilitate very much our work if for future requests you could use the specific electronic form available on our webpage https://www.secure.europarl.europa.eu/Re...

The system then originates an automatic acknowledgement of receipt and the request enters our workflow circuit which facilitates the distribution of tasks and reattribution to the relevant units in the EP.

Thank you for your cooperation

Dear Registre,

the documents I received do not satisfy my request, because they are heavily redacted.
I request access to the complete and unredacted documents identified by SJ-0661/11 and SJ-0501/11 under EU Regulation 1049/2001.

Yours sincerely,

Stefan Wehrmeyer

Dear Registre,

as stated on March 28th I am not satisfied with the handling of this request. You partially refused access to the requested documents, because you sent them over in a redacted form. However, you did not inform me of my right to a confirmatory application as required per Article 7 (1) in EU Regulation 1049/2001. Also a reason for the partial refusal has not been given.

This is a confirmatory application requesting an internal review of your reply from March 15th on the basis that the documents provided were redacted and therefore your reply can be considered as a partial refusal.

"Motivated replies" are not a defined part of EU Regulation 1049/2001 and there is no ground for requesting a postal address. Your electronic reply from March 15th contained PDF (redacted) documents, so it is certainly possible to send documents electronically (in an unredacted form).

Please perform an internal review of my request for access to the complete and unredacted documents identified as SJ-0501/11 and SJ-0661/11.

Yours sincerely,

Stefan Wehrmeyer

Dear Mr Wehrmeyer,

may we draw your attention to the content of our mail of 28.03.2012 (see
below) in which we have acknowledged receipt of your request within the
meaning of Article 7(1) of Regulation (EC) no 1049/2001.

In other words, we have considered your e-mail of 28 March in your favour,
as an initial application. Having acted like that we have protected your
right for a future confirmatory request, if you deem it appropriate.
Confirmative applications are set out in Article 8 of the Regulation.
