Dear Daniel
Looking forward to our call tomorrow. I just wanted to share, ahead of our video call, a short agenda of the
points we would like to discuss :
- As mentionned earlier, we would like to present to you a bit more in detail our position on the
upcoming revision of CO2 standards for HDVs ;
- We would like to discuss the 22 November event, including your participation and the possibility to
have a short instroductory video statement of VP Timmermans. This is the reason why I have
invited
, to join our call
- Finally, we would be very keen, especially considering to the recent State of the Union address, on
organising soon a joint high-level meeting with VP Timmermans and Commissioner Breton, to
discuss upcoming legislative proposals, together with horizontal topics like resilience of industrial
supply chains (and upcoming Raw materials Act)

Many thanks for your feedback and for proposing Daniel for our in-studio panel discussion. We would very
like to welcome him on this occasion and will also discuss with him the content/ logistics around this panel
discussion during our upcoming call with him.
May I ask you two additional things
- On top of Daniel’s participation to our panel discussion, do you think it would be feasible to have a
short (2-minute) pre-recorded video message from Mr Timmermans which we would gladly use as a
scene-setter to open the event?
- While we would all be able to move the call with Daniel to 21/09 (in the afternoon), we were
wondering if it would be possible to have the call slightly earlier (19/09 or 20/09 would be fine):

Board on 21/09 where we would like to report on some of
the items that we are planning to discuss with Daniel

We checked Diederik’s calendar and unfortunately he will not be available on 22/11. Daniel can step-in instead.
Also, since Daniel will have to stay in Strasbourg on 15/9, may we please move the meeting to 21/9 at 11:30 or
