Dear M. Samsom,
On behalf of the Cercle des Réseaux Européens, which brings together major French
companies and infrastructures in the fields of energy, transport, water,
telecommunications and postal services, I would like to invite you to take part in one
of our next lunch, in October or December 2022, at a date at your best convenience.
The Cercle des Réseaux Européens, is a place of exchange between European policy
makers on the one hand and the Directors of European and International Affairs on
the other.
During our last exchanges, we had the honour of welcoming various personalities
such as Philippe Léglise-Costa, French Ambassador to the EU; Michael Hager, Head
of Cabinet of Valdis Dombrovskis; Stefano Grassi, Head of Cabinet of Kadri Simson;
Eva Kaili, Vice-President of the European Parliament; Kerstin Jorna, Director General
of DG GROW; or Olivier Guersent, Director General of DG COMP.
Members of the Cercle des Réseaux would be highly interested in discussing with
you about a first review of the impressive work of the European Commission on
climate action since the beginning of Ursula von der Leyen’s Presidency. An
assessment of the current state of play of the Green Deal, its implementation, but
also every coming initiatives would represent an important added value for our
members.

Usually, our lunches take place in Paris, from 12:30 to 14:00. If your agenda doesn’t
