Your applications for access to documents – Ref GestDem No
2016/0892, GestDem No 2016/0893 and GestDem No 2016/0930
Dear Mr Hoedeman,
We refer to your e-mails dated 23/02/2016 in which you make requests for access to
documents to distinct Commission departments, on behalf of Corporate Europe
Observatory (CEO), registered on 24/02/2016 respectively under the reference numbers
GestDem No 2016/0892, GestDem No 2016/0893 and GestDem No 2016/0930 and to
our correspondence in this file.
I refer in particular to your email of 21/04/2016, in which you replied to our request for
clarifications of 15/03/2016 (Ares(2016)1299393). We would like to draw your attention
to the fact that, as indicated in that request, the 15 working days time limit for handling
your applications has started running when we received the requested clarifications from
you. Consequently, the new time limit for handling your applications GestDem No
2016/0892, GestDem No 2016/0893 and GestDem No 2016/0930 expires on
18/05/2015.
However, we will not be in a position to complete the handling of your aforementioned
applications within the time limit of 15 working days, which expires on 18/05/2016.
An extended time limit is needed in particular as the handling of your request requires
coordination among several Commission departments.
Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in accordance with
Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to documents1.
The new time limit expires on 08/06/2016 for your applications GestDem No 2016/0892,
GestDem No 2016/0893 and GestDem No 2016/0930.
