Invitation to a round table on the impact assessment on Endocrine Disruptors-
25 March 2015 from 10.00 to 12.00  in Brussels

Message:
The European Commission is carrying out a comprehensive impact assessment in the context of
the Plant Protection Product Regulation (EC) 1107/2009 and the Biocidal Product Regulation
(EU) 528/2012. Different options for defining the criteria for the identification of endocrine
disruptors will be evaluated following standard rules for impact assessments in the context of
policy making.
The roadmap of the impact assessment was published in June 2014. The impact of all options
will be assessed, considering potential effects on health, environment, trade, agriculture and
socio-economy in general. A public consultation closed on 16 January 2015 and received over
2/4

27,000 responses. In addition, the Commission intends to organise a conference in June 2015
informing Member States, MEPs, third countries and stakeholders about the impact assessment
and providing a platform for further exchange of views.
For a preliminary discussion on the impact assessment, we would like to invite your
organisation to a round table in Centre Albert Borschette (36 rue Froissart - Brussels), room
AB-3D on 25 March 2015 from 10.00 to 12.00. We attach a draft agenda for the round table.
We apologise for this short notice invitation but hope that you will nonetheless be able to attend.
Only one participant for organisation is invited. Please confirm your participation by Monday
23 March
 to
:
@ec.europa.eu. For security reasons please
inform us of the name of the person who will participate and of his/her nationality.

Sincerely yours,
Ladislav Miko
