EU CCC confirmed that
they see benefits in negotiating disciplines in CAI ensuring equal treatment in
participation in standard-setting bodies for foreign invested companies. While
access to technical
committees (TCs) was mentioned as a key concern, the challenge is ensuring right to effective
participation.
