Additional information on SANCO – D1(2011)D/105558
Dear Health and Consumers (SANCO),
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
My name is Bob van de Sande, I am a European Studies student at Maastricht University. I am working as part of a group on a Risk Regulation paper on the topic of Bisphenol A regulation in the European Union.
We would like to discuss the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health’s decision to support the amendment of Directive 2002/72/EC regarding the restriction of Bisphenol A in the manufacture of polycarbonate infant feeding bottles. The decision to support the amendment was voted in favour by a qualified majority (SANCO – D1(2011)D/105558 (7b)).
We would like to know who participated in this vote and how they voted on this issue.
Additional information:
We do not intend to publish this paper.
Kind Regards,
Bob van de Sande

Dear Health and Consumers (SANCO),
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Health and Consumers (SANCO)'s handling of my FOI request 'Additional information on SANCO – D1(2011)D/105558'.
The request which I sent on 21/11/13 remains insubstantially addressed. Taking into account the time of year that the request was submitted, some delays are partially understandable. However, it is absurd that the amended deadline that has been internally set can be over two months from the initial request. I earnestly hope that my concerns can be addressed quickly and that a review will improve the efficiency of future requests.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: http://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/addit...
Sincerely,
Bob van de Sande
Dear Mr van de Sande,
Thank you for your email. The deadline for the reply is 22 January. The partial reply is presently under preparation and will be transmitted to you within this deadline.
Kind regards,
Gwen Mooney
