Dear Ms Cann,

On 14 July 2014 the European Parliament received your request for access to documents under Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 relating to a former staff member of the institution and her move to an external entity, in particular her former job titles at the European Parliament and copies of any application made under the Staff Regulations to undertake outside professional activities, and any correspondence in this regard.
As you may already be aware, Ms Stack has made her career path public information, via linkedin. You can find this information here: http://be.linkedin.com/pub/kathryn-stack...

In addition, may we point out that Ms Stack, as a former MEP assistant (or political group advisor) for the period January 2008- June 2014, is subject to the rules laid out under Chapter 2 (Title III) of the Staff Regulations (modified on 22 October 2013), applicable for all officials with regard to the conditions for exercise of activities outside the institutions. These rules are duly respected and applied by the European Parliament.

In a similar fashion to your request to Parliament made in December 2013 (and as stipulated in our final response of 28 February 2014), please note that all other information you have requested is considered personal data in the sense of Article 2 of Regulation (EC) No 45/2001.

If we can be of any further assistance, and according to Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, please do not hesitate to contact us again.
