Artificial intelligence in the European Union
Dear European External Action Service,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
documents that cover how artificial intelligence (AI) is seen, understood and intended to be used by the European Union, particularly in the EEAS.
I am a student in Braga (Portugal) doing a project for a PhD thesis in artificial intelligence.
I would like to understand how EU institutions and bodies such as European External Action Service, EUROPOL, INTCEN, CERT-EU, eu-LISA, ENISA, EMSA, Eurojust, EUSPA, Frontex, European Defense Agency, SatCen, European Committee for Data Protection, the European Data Protection Authority and the European Union Institute for Security Studies take into account the issue of artificial intelligence, whether AI is relevant to its operation and whether for the institution/body presented here, AI is used as a means of cooperation with US and UK.
Please send the documents to me in electronic format.
Yours faithfully,
Henrique Palumbo
