Bureau notes

The authority would like to / has responded by postal mail to this request.

Dear Madam, Sir,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

The following documents, including their annexes, referred to in the Bureau agenda for 22 October 2018:
1) Update on the implementation of the institutional communication strategy for the 2019
European Elections, Note from the Secretary-General
2) Transparency Register negotiations - Letters from Ms GUILLAUME, Vice-President responsible, and Ms HÜBNER, Chair of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs
3) Proposal for revision of the Internal Rules on the implementation of the European
Parliament’s budget - Note from the Secretary-General*
4) Performance audit on EU spending on office accommodation -Observations by the Court of Auditors -Note from the Secretary-General*

When processing my request, please take note of the 28 April 2016 resolution adopted by the European Parliament, in which it called on the Parliament "to make available the agendas and feedback notes of the meetings of committee coordinators, the Bureau and the Conference of Presidents, as well as, in principle, all documents referred to in these agendas ... by publishing them on the parliament's website". The text received the support from an 86 percent majority. The notes which I requested, were mentioned in the Bureau agenda. Logic dictates that a majority of MEPs believe that they should “in principle” be published.

All the best,
Peter Teffer
