Your application is currently being handled.

of your application within the assigned time limit, which is 13 January
2016.
We have therefore to extend the time limit with 15 working days in

Dear Secretariat General,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Secretariat General's handling of my FOI request 'Circulation Fiche Adonis' - GestDem 2015/6551.
The delay with another 15 days seems to me unjustified. My request concerns one single page. In any archive such a document must be able to be retraced within 15 working days.
Moreover, since Adonis is an electronic mail register the fiche should be found with one click (based on name, date or whatever search key).
Therefore I would kindly request access to the Adonis fiche as soon as possible, and not after another 15 days have passed again.
If the circulation fiche does not exist, then please let me know this.
I would welcome a confirmation of receipt of this message.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: http://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/circu...
Yours faithfully,
Arun Dohle

Dear Mr Dohle,
Thank you for your email of 12 January 2016 regarding your application for access to documents, submitted in accordance with Regulation 1049/2001 regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents[1] (hereafter 'Regulation 1049/2001'), and registered under Gestdem reference number 2015/6551.
The processing of your request is still at the initial stage and therefore under the entire responsibility of the Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers ('DG JUST'). Against this background, the Secretariat General will only intervene at the confirmatory stage, if any, in accordance with Article 4 of Detailed rules for the application of Regulation 1049/2001[2].
Moreover, as a matter of general administrative practice, it may be worth noting that the fact that a request concerns one single document is irrelevant for the purposes of extending the initial time-limit for the handling of a request pursuant to Article 7(3) of Regulation 1049/2001. The applicability of Article 7(3) does not rely solely on the general quantitative criteria cited merely as examples in this provision. The time needed for handling a request indeed depends on other factors, such as the complexity of the request, the time that has expired since the document(s) requested was/were drawn up, and the number of other access-to-documents requests received during the same period. Thus, a thorough and careful examination of electronic and paper archives, even for the search of only one document or the determination that this document does not exist, may require some time and justify an extension of the time-limit pursuant to Article 7(3).
Yours sincerely,
