Complaint by the Association of Portuguese Companies for the Environment Sector (AEPSA)
Dear DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,
in July 2021, the Association of Portuguese Companies for the Environment Sector (AEPSA) filed a complaint to the European Commission's DG GROW, "requesting a review of the current situation of the water sector in Portugal". This became clear from documents received as a result of a previous access to documents request (case number 2023/1159). There is no information in the documents that were released, nor anywhere else online, about how the Commission responded to this complaint and which action the Commission decided to take regarding the water sector in Portugal.
I am therefore, under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, requesting documents which contain the following information:
1) minutes and other notes from DG GROW's meetings (including online meetings) with the Association of Portuguese Companies for the Environment Sector (AEPSA) from July 1st 2021 until today;
2) all correspondence (including email) from DG GROW to the Association of Portuguese Companies for the Environment Sector (AEPSA) from July 1st 2021 until today;
Yours faithfully,
Olivier Hoedeman
