Dear DG Energy,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

1- All correspondence (including emails) between 1st January 2019 and 21st April 2021 between the Commissioner for Energy and her cabinet and/or officials and representatives of DG Energy and representatives from the Commissioner for and/or his/her cabinet and/or officials and the Commissioner for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union and her cabinet and/or officials and representatives of DG Fisma and representatives from the Commissioner for and/or his/her cabinet and/or officials concerning the geothermal energy in the preparation of the Delegated Act C(2021) 2800/3, which was published on the 21 April 2021.

2 - List of meetings between 1st January 2019 and 21st April 2021 between officials and representatives of DG Energy and DG FISMA regarding the geothermal energy in the Delegated Act C(2021) 2800/3.

We refer to your e-mail of 22 April 2021 in which you make a request for
access to documents, registered on 17 May 2021 under the above mentioned
reference number. Your application is currently being handled.

However, we will not be in a position to complete the handling of your
application within the time limit of 15 working days, which expired on 08
June 2021.

An extended time limit is needed for thorough analysis as to the
availability of the documents requested.
