Correspondence Against Child Trafficking

Ihre Anfrage war teilweise erfolgreich.

Dear Secretariat General (SG),

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

All correspondence, including briefing notes, sent by Against Child Trafficking to the European Commission (Catherine Day and Simon Mordue), including any documents related to follow-ups. Period 2009 - now.

Yours faithfully,

Arun Dohle

Generalsekretariat der Europäischen Kommission

The activity of European Commission departments is likely to be reduced
during August.  We will handle your requests for access to documents as
soon as possible.  However, some delays may occur, especially where the
processing of data requires the consultation of national administrations,
external organisations or other services.

Dienststellen erforderlich macht.

Dear Secretariat General (SG),

My original request was of 9th August 2014.

It was, as far as I know, not split up into 4 different GESTDEM numbers/requests or whatever jargon you use.

I confirmed my postal address on 26th August 2014.

As far as I know, I did not receive a Gestdem reference nr related to this request for access to documents under Regulation 1049/2001 at all.

The deadline, by law, expired mid September 2014.

Under the confirmatory appeal procedure, I am looking forward to a reply within 15 days, failing which I will put this to the European Ombudsman.

Yours faithfully,

Arun Dohle

Dear Mr Dohle,

Following your email of 28 October 2014, we verified the letters we received from you in August 2014 and we found out that, due to an unfortunate omission, your request of 26 August 2014 has not been registered yet.

We now acknowledge receipt of your request for access to documents. Your request will be dealt by the Commission at the initial level. It has been registered today under the following references:

- Secretariat General (documents drawn up or received by Mrs Day) - GestDem 2014/5080;
- Directorate General Enlargement (documents drawn up or received by Mr Mordue) - GestDem 2014/5081.

In accordance with Regulation 1049/2001 regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents, you will receive a response to your request within 15 working days. The time limit will expire on 19/11/2014. In case this time limit needs to be extended, you will be informed in due course.

The possibilities for review are also open for you and you will be entitled to submit a confirmatory application if you are not satisfied with the reply to be provided at the initial level or no such reply is provided within the deadline.

We would like to apologise for the delay in registering your above requests and for any inconvenience caused and to assure you that we will do our best to provide you with a reply as soon as possible.
