Correspondence between Mr. Moscovici and Spanish Government

Dear Economic and Financial Affairs,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

- All correspondence (including letters, emails, phonelogs, minutes of meetings...) between Mr. Pierre Moscovici or his cabinet since November 1st 2014 with:

-Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy or his cabinet.

- Spanish Deputy Prime Minister Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría or her cabinet.

-Spanish Minister of Economy Luis de Guindos or his cabinet.

We refer to your e-mail dated 25/10/2016 in which you make a request for
access to documents, registered on 26/10/2016 under the above mentioned
reference number.
 
Your application is currently being handled. However, we were not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expired on 18/11/2016.
 
An extended time limit is needed as your application
 
•       concerns several documents;
 
•       concerns documents by authors outside of the Commission which must
be consulted.
 
Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 09/12/2016.
We apologise for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.
