Matteo Civillini

Dear Taxation and Customs Union,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

All Customs Declaration Forms for goods/products identified by TARIC codes "20029091", "20029031”, "20029011" where the country of dispatch/export is Italy and the country of destination is Canada, submitted between 01/01/2021 and the most recent data available at the time of your response.

If for any reason, Customs Declaration Forms cannot be provided in their original format, I am open to receiving the information requested above in an alternative format as long as the following details are also included:
- Consignor/Exporter
- Consignee
- Commodity Code

I would prefer to receive the documents on a rolling basis, in case the Commission’s search for, or deliberations concerning, certain documents delay their individual release.

To the extent that it is possible, I prefer to receive documents in electronic format.
Should my request be denied wholly or partially, I kindly request to explain the denial or all redactions referring to specific exemptions in the regulation. Also I would expect the partial release of documents, in case of partial exemption according to article 4.6.

Please confirm receipt of this application. I look forward to receiving your reply within 15 business days, as established by the regulation.

Yours faithfully,

Matteo Civillini

Dear [email address],

In line with the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, you should have provided a response by 04/08/2021. On 05/08/2021 you said you would require an extended time period and reply by 25/08/2021.

As that second deadline has now not been respected, I kindly request to provide a response as soon as possible.
