Dear Mr Stolton,

Please find attached document Ares(2020)3791241 from GARAU Carmen (SANTE.A.1) dated 17/07/2020, containing a clarification request on your access to documents request GestDem 2020/4112.

Kind regards,
SANTE ACCESS TO DOCUMENTS

Dear ve_sante.accdoc(SANTE),

You request clarification on the scope of my request, specifically on the first point of my enquiry. I can confirm that my request in this regard is limited to communications and information on cyberattacks to hospitals or EU health bodies.

With regards to your invitation for me to provide you with 'references and/or indications about the dates or
periods during which the documents would have been drawn up and/or persons or bodies
who would have drafted the documents,' I would prefer not to specify names or dates, as such would drastically limit the scope of the request (which is already narrow), and may, by extension, result in the unwanted consequence of documents or information falling outside the scope of my request.

Thank you for your timely response and your diligent commitment to transparency. I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,
Samuel Stolton
