Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

- list of all meetings held by DG GROW with external stakeholders related directly or indirectly to industry alliances (European Clean Hydrogen Alliance, European Battery Alliance, Circular Plastics Alliance, European Raw Materials Alliance, CRM Alliance, etc.) from 8-2021 until today
- all documentation (including but not limited to all email correspondence, attendance lists, agendas, background papers, transcripts and recordings), as well as the meeting minutes or notes relating to the following meetings in which DG GROW participated: EU Clean Hydrogen Alliance meetings with NGOs 15.1.2021, 22.4.2021, 3.6.2021, EU Raw Materials Alliance meetings 6.10.2020 (Sectoral Dialogue on extractive industries), 5.11.2020 (Finnish Minerals Group), 27.11.2020 (CRM Alliance), 14.12.2020 (Rio Tinto), 6.5.2021 (ERMA representatives), 21.4.2021, 3.5.2021, 5.5.2021, 17.5.2021, 23.6.2021, 9.7.2021, 14.7.2021 (EIT Raw Materials)

Dear Sir,

We refer to your request for access to documents, registered on 25/10/2021
under the above mentioned reference number.

Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expires on 17/11/2021.

An extended time limit is needed as the application concerns documents
held by different Services which must be consulted.

Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 08/12/2021.

We apologize for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.

registered under the above-mentioned reference number.

 

According to our standard operational procedure, the reply would normally
be sent to you also by registered mail. Please note, however, that due to
the extraordinary health and security measures currently in force during
to the COVID-19 pandemic, which include the requirement for the majority
of Commission non-critical staff to telework, we are unfortunately not in
a position to follow this procedure until further notice.
