Ihre Anfrage war teilweise erfolgreich.

Dear DG Trade,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as
developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which
contain the following information:

– on the topic of regulatory cooperation in TTIP, all correspondence (including emails), the list of meetings with detailed minutes and any other reports of such meetings between DG Trade's officials (including the Commissioner and his Cabinet members) and representatives of the following organisations:

-CEFIC
-European Crop Protection Association (ECPA)
-Bayer
-BASF
-Syngenta
-Cosmetics Europe
-BusinessEurope
-American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union (AmCham EU)
-USA Government
-UK Government
-German Government
-French Government
-Spanish Government

(between December 2013 and December 2014)

Should my request be denied wholly or partially, please explain the
denial or all deletions referring to specific exemptions in the
regulation. Also I expect the partial release of documents, in case
of partial exemption according to article 4.6.

Do not hesitate to get back to me should you need any further
information which could facilitate your research.

Thank you for your assistance.

Yours faithfully,

Lora Verheecke

Dear Ms Verheecke,

We refer to your e-mail dated 19/02/2015 in which you make a request for access to documents, registered on the same day under the above mentioned reference number.

Your application is currently being handled. We were not in a position to complete the handling of your application within the time limit of 15 working days, which expired yesterday.
An extended time limit is needed as your application concerns a large number of documents and third parties may need to be consulted. We are in the process of identifying the documents now and then they will need to be assessed individually. We aim at sending you a reply in batches: as soon as a meaningful part of the reply is ready, we'll send it.

We have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 07/04/2015.
We apologise for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.

Yours faithfully,
DG Trade

Dear Ms Verheecke,

Our apologies for not coming back to you on this earlier. The colleagues in the unit dealing with the TTIP negotiations are working on your reply as their priority on access to documents work. We will send you a reply as soon as it can be finalized.

In the meantime, we have sent (13 October) a large number of documents (related to stakeholder contacts on TTIP in 2014) to another applicant from the CEO office in Cologne, also using an ask-the-eu -email-address. Would it be possible for you to check those documents and see if they answer part of your request?

Best regards,
