Dear Mr Bank,

We are approaching you concerning your request for access to documents
registered under GestDem 2017/4453 and we would like to update you
concerning the progress of the reply.

After identification and the assessment of the documents, we are at the
moment finalising the reply that concerns 31 identified document. However,
we have just identified around 30 additional documents that, after the
first quick assessment, might be of the relevance for you, which has now
led to a delay in sending out the reply to your request. As the reply with
the assessment of the first 31 document is in the final stage of
preparation, we approach you with the proposal to send you our reply in
two batches. That would allow us to have some additional time necessary
for proper assessment of the additional documents and its relevance for
your request and would also avoid further delays in sending out the part
of the reply that is being finalised.

If you agree with this proposal, the first batch would then concern 31
document and we are doing our best that this batch reaches you as soon as
possible. Our apologies in advance as, despite our best effort, it will
mean that also the batch one would reach you with a slight excess of the
12/09 deadline.

We hope that you could agree with this proposal of sending the reply in
two batches and thank you in advance for your understanding!

Yours faithfully,
