Documents regarding endocrine disrupters
Dear Environment (ENV),
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
– on the topic of endocrine disrupters (also spelled: disruptors), all correspondence (including emails), the list of meetings with detailed minutes and any other reports of such meetings between DG Environment’s officials (including the Commissioner and his Cabinet members) and representatives of the following organisations:
-Fleischman-Hillard
-Burson-Marsteller
-EPPA consulting
-Harwood Lewitt consulting
-Laroche Conseil
-Keller & Heckman
(between April 2011 and July 2013);
Should my request be denied wholly or partially, please explain the denial or all deletions referring to specific exemptions in the regulation. Also I expect the partial release of documents, in case of partial exemption according to article 4.6.
Do not hesitate to get back to me should you need any further information which could facilitate your research.
Thank you for your assistance.
Yours faithfully,
Stéphane Horel

Dear Mr Horel,
Thank you very much calling me and for the discussion we had regarding
your request for access to documents.
As I explained on the phone, our colleague who is dealing with this
endocrines dossier is on holidays until beginning of September. He is the
only one in our unit who has the full overview of the documents you have
requested. In his absence we may be able to collect, evaluate and disclose
a small portion of them but, in accordance with Article 6(3) of Regulation
(EC) No 1049/2001, I would kindly ask that you agree to wait until 16
September for the disclosure of the remaining documents. By then our
colleague will be back and will have enough time to deal with your
request.
With kind regards,
Janusz
