Equinor correspondence
Dear Energy,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
All correspondence, including emails, sent and received since 01/04/2017, between
the Commissioner for the Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič, his cabinet, his officials, any
other representatives of DG Energy, and representatives from Equinor (previously
known as Statoil).
2. All documentation (including but not limited to all email correspondence, attendance
lists, agendas, background papers, and minutes/notes) relating to the meetings
between Equinor and:
a. Deputy Head of Cabinet Bernd Biervert on 18/09/2017
b. Director-General for Energy Dominique Ristori on 01/09/2017
c. Commissioner for the Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič on 23/03/2017
d. Director-General for Energy Dominique Ristori on 04/01/2017
Please produce the documents on a rolling basis. I would prefer that the Commission’s
search and deliberations concerning particular documents not delay the production of
documents the Commissions has already retrieved and decided to produce.
Yours faithfully,
Edward Collins
