EU-Mercosur deal and Amazonian deforestation

Dear DG Trade,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001 and Aarhus Regulation 1367/2006, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

- Any study, impact assessment, forecast, paper or other document authored or received by DG Trade-officials (including the Commissioner and the Cabinet) in the past 3 years that pertains to environmental risks of the EU-Mercosur trade agreement within the Mercosur region, particularly (but not limited to) deforestation, logging, and/or burning in the Amazon rainforest.

- Any internal or external emails, memos, and meeting minutes within the past 12 months that contain "Mercosur" AND any two of the following words: "Bolsonaro"; "Amazon""; "deforestation"; "fires". Please also include any additional materials that pertain to the subject of Mercosur and Amazon fires, including documents, memos, talking points, etc. that pertain to the "line to take" and public communication on this issue.
