EU Parliament's diet and carbon footprint
Dear European Parliament,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001 and the Aarhus Directive 2003/4/EC, I am requesting documents, e-mails, letters, memos (including all attachments), reports, evaluations, briefings and analysis of any kind which contain the following information:
1. How much meat do restaurants, canteens and cafeterias of the European Parliament (Brussels and Strasbourg - separately) consume/buy per year in the last 10 years?
2. Which are the full plant-based diets offered in restaurants, canteens and cafeterias of the European Parliament (Brussels and Strasbourg - separately)?
3. The European Parliament's latest tender call for catering for the period 2021-2027
4. How many greenhouse gas emissions are attributable to food consumption of the Parliament staff in the institution's carbon footprint of 2019? and of the last 10 years?
