Dear sirs,
Referring to Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 on public access to EU documents and to the 'Aarhus Regulation' (see note), I would herewith like to ask for access to the following:
1- all correspondence (including email) since 1st January 2019 between the former Commissioner for Clima and his cabinet and/or officials and representatives of DG Clima on one hand and representatives from BusinessEurope, Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron, Total, BP, CEFIC, the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP), EUROGAS, FuelsEurope, the European Energy Forum, Hydrogen Europe, ETIP ZEP (ZEP), the Technical Committee of Petroleum Additive Manufacturers in Europe AISBL (ATC), AssociationTechnique de l’Industrie Européenne des Lubrifiants (ATIEL), European Biodiesel Board (EBB), Fédération belge des industries chimiques et des sciences de la vie (essenscia), European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET), and the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) on the other, in which the European Green Deal was addressed.

3 - minutes of the meetings mentioned above
I would like to make clear I prefer you produce the documents on a rolling basis.
At no point should the Commission’s search for—or deliberations concerning—certain documents delay the production of others that the Commission has already retrieved and elected to produce.
To the extent possible, we prefer the documents in electronic format. Documents that cannot be sent in electronic format should be sent to Corporate Europe Observatory, Rue d’Edimbourg 26, 1050 Brussels.
Should my request be denied wholly or partially, please explain the denial or all deletions referring to specific exemptions in the regulation. Also I expect the partial release of documents, in case of partial exemption according to article 4.6.
I reserve the right to appeal.
Please confirm having received this application. I look forward to your reply within 15 business days, according to the regulation.

DG CLIMA replied to the Gestdem case 2020/0151 on 31 January 2020, following the reply the case was considered closed. We can send you the electronic version again if you confirm that you did not receive our initial reply.
If case you would disagree with the personal data redacted in the two identified documents, you are entitled, in accordance with Article 7(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, to submit a confirmatory application requesting the Commission to review its position as explained in the reply letter.

The electronic version is considered an advance copy due to the fact that a hard copy is sent to your postal address as well. I can confirm that DG CLIMA identified only the documents referred in the letter provided on 31 January 2020.
