Dear Madam, Sir,
On 6 March 2019 I filed an access to documents request addressed to the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs for access to ‘[t]he commission’s legal analysis of the General Court of the European Union’s Judgment in Cases T-339/16 Ville de Paris v Commission, T-352/16 Ville de Bruxelles v Commission, T-391/16 Ville de Madrid v Commission’.
The DG did not offer this analysis in its return, nor did it explain that it was in fact the Legal Services that held this legal analysis. I subsequently filed a confirmatory application.
According to a letter from the Secretariat-General, dated 9 April 2019 (https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/6491...), the SG has registered a new request on my behalf for access to documents under reference number GESTDEM 2019/2114, addressed to the Legal service of the European Commission, "as it is the competent service to reply to your request."
This was done on or before 4 April 2019, which means that the legal deadline to reply will pass within days. I hope that you will be able to reply to my request in due course.
All the best,
