Dear Trade (TRADE),

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001 and in the Aarhus Regulation, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

On the topic of glyphosate, all correspondence (including emails), the list of meetings with detailed minutes and any other reports of such meetings between DG Trade’s officials (including the Commissioner and her Cabinet members) and representatives of the following
actors:

-Glyphosate Task Force
-European Crop Care Association (ECCA)
-European Crop Protection Association (ECPA)
-Monsanto
-Hume Brophy
-CropLife America
-American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union (AmCham EU)
-US Mission to the EU
-USA Government or US goverment bodies or representatives

Or any organisation or consultancy firm representing any of these actors

between 15 August 2015 and now.

Should my request be denied wholly or partially, please explain the denial or all deletions referring to specific exemptions in the regulation. Also I expect the partial release of documents, in case of partial exemption according to article 4.6.

Dear Ms Holland,

We refer to your e-mail dated 31/03/2016 in which you make a request for access to documents, registered on 01/04/2016 under the above mentioned reference number.

Your application is currently being handled. However, we were not in a position to complete the handling of your application within the time limit of 15 working days, which expires today. We have so far not identified any documents falling within the scope of your request in the timeline you specify. We are however still checking with some units in DG TRADE to confirm this.

Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 19/05/2016.
We apologise for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.
