Health Commissioner correspondence with pesticides lobby
Dear Secretariat General of the European Commission,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting all correspondence, including emails and attachments and all sorts of documents exchanged from 1st October 2017 to 1st December 2017 involving:
- All members of the cabinet of Health Commissioner V. Andriukaitis and any representatives of the European Crop Protection Assocation (ECPA) or agriculture companies Monsanto and Bayer.
This request is strongly in the public interest. The response will, I hope, allow me to better understand what led to the decision by the European Commission to relicense the active substance glyphosate.
Do not hesitate to get back to me should you need any additional information. I hope that given the particular circumstances of this file my request can be dealt with as quickly as possible.
Yours faithfully,
Zachary Boren
