Dear Arne Semsrott,

I can assure you that I take your request for access to documents
seriously and will do my utmost to accommodate your requests without undue
delay. However, we have registered several access to document requests
submitted by a 'Arne Semsrott' to the Commission and each of these
requests are made from different email addresses. It would therefore be
careless of me to assume that these requests all come from the same 'Arne
Semsrott' as I am not in a position to make that assumption.

I hope this clarifies the situation and that you will assist me in
accommodating your request for access to documents without further delay
by providing your postal address.

Best Regards,

Gitte Louise Olsen

Dear Gitte Louise Olsen ,

you can be sure that all of these e-mails are from me. Here's how asktheeu.org works: For each request, it automatically generates an indivdual e-mail address based on the name of the requester. By sending an e-mail to that address, it not only gets forwarded to the requester, but also published online. For example, you can find my request to you at https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/lett...

My postal address is c/o Open Knowledge Foundation Germany, Singerstrasse 109, 10179, but of course you know that you don't have to ask for it and that the Ombudsman has ruled that you don't have to ask for it.

Yours faithfully,

Arne Semsrott

Dear Mr Semsrott,

We refer to your message dated 09.07.2018 in which you make a request for
access to documents, registered on 13.07.2018 under the above-mentioned
reference number and upon reception of your postal address.

Your application is being handled. However, we will not be in a position
to complete the handling of your application within the time limit of 15
working days, which expires on 03.08.2018.  An extended time limit is
needed as the requested document originates from a third party which has
been consulted, and concerns different services.

Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) n°1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 27.08.2018.

We apologise for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.

Yours sincerely,

European Commission
