Dear Ms Cann,

Thank you for your mail from 23 May 2019 on the issue of the meetings of
employees of the Romanian Permanent Representation to the EU with
representatives of interest groups since 18 April 2018.

I would like to reiterate that the Permanent Representative and the Deputy
Permanent Representative apply the conditionality principle when accepting
to meet with representatives of interest groups, on a voluntary basis. The
same applies for the employees of the Permanent Representation.

The meetings of the Permanent Representative and of the Deputy Permanent
Representative are published on the website of the
Presidency:[1]http://ue.mae.ro/en/node/1305

However, due to the heavy intensive work during the Presidency, it is
difficult to provide a comprehensive list of the meetings held by the
employees of the Permanent Representation, taking into account that many
on these meetings took place in the context of different activities
specific to a Presidency (events, seminars, round-table discussions etc.).

Thank you very much for your understanding.

Best regards,
