Meetings and Correspondence between DG ENER and industry
Dear Energy,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
All documentation (including but not limited to all email correspondence, attendance lists, agendas, background papers, transcripts, recordings and minutes/notes) relating to the meetings listed below between industry and cabinet members of Kadri Simpson:
1. Shell with Ruud Kempener and Stefano Grassi on 20/11/2023 on 'Renewable Energy Directive - biofuels - carbon capture and storage'
2. TotalEnergies with Ruud Kempener and Stefano Grassi on 25/05/2023 on 'SE NOVE (NOVE) Presentation of TotalEnergies investments in renewable and decarbonised energies'
3. Advanced Biofuels Coalition (LSB) with Barbara Glowacka on 06/09/022 on 'to exchange views on the legislative work on RED III in the EU institutions'
4. Gevo with Thor-Sten Vertmann and Barbara Glowacka on 30/03/2022 on 'to exchange views on issues such as the possible Delegated Act amending the RED II Annex IX, the upcoming Implementing Act on Voluntary Schemes, as well as the overall development of the regulatory framework on advanced biofuels'.
5. Neste Oyj with Barbara Glowacka on 30/11/2021 on 'to discuss the decarbonisation of the European transport sector especially with a view to the Fit for 55 package and the proposal of the Renewable Energy Directive (RED III).
6. Neste with Stefano Grassi on 06/07/2021 on 'Red II revision - GHG calculation rules - transport'
