Dear DG ENER,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
All documentation, including but not limited to, attendance lists, agendas, background papers, minutes/notes and email correspondence about or summarising, the following meetings of the cabinet members of Commissioner Kadri Simson with multiple organisations.
1. Barbara Glowacka’s meeting with Lufthansa Group (LHG) on 29/11/2021 on the Commission proposal on the ETS, ReFuelAviation and Energy Taxation Directive.
2. Helena Hinto and Laure Chapuis-Kombos' meeting with European Producers of Renewable ethanol (ePURE), NGVA Europe, FuelsEurope, eFuel Alliance, European Association Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA), International Road Transport Union Permanent Delegation to the EU (IRU) on 30/04/2021 to discuss priorities in climate policy and carbon emission reduction in the mobility sector.
3. Helena Hinto and Laure Chapuis-Kombos' meeting with European Community Shipowner’s Association (ECSA) on 13/04/2021 on the FuelEU Maritime and RED.

Dear Mr Ewbank,
We refer to your e-mail of 28 February 2022, in which you make a request
for access to documents, registered on the 01 of March under the above
mentioned reference number. Your applications are currently being handled.
However, we will not be in a position to complete the handling of your
applications within the time limit of 15 working days, which expires on 22
An extended time limit is needed as the application concerns documents
held by different Services, which must be consulted.
Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 12 April 2022.
