Names of members keeping mobile devices
Dear European Parliament,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
The names of MEPs who were required to pay compensation for keeping their portable IT devices, as a follow up to my application A(2019)10215. The names of the MEPs concerned had been blackened out of the disclosed table in my application.
The full disclosure of these names are of public interest given MEPs are elected and are public figures with access to public funds. The names would allow me, as a per my due diligence as a reporter, to track down those concerned who may have had credible reasons for not returning the devices paid for by public funds.

Dear Mr Nielsen,
In principle, the time limit to reply to your application for public
access to the names of the MEPs who have kept their portable IT devices
should expire at the end of this day.
However, as you requested access to personal data, the disclosure of
which is subject to specific and complex rules, Parliament carried out
internal consultations that took more time than usually, and needs to
hereby extended the time limit to reply by 15 working days, in accordance
with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001.
The decision on your application is nevertheless being finalized, and it
will sent to you shortly.
