Non-Financial Reporting

Die Anfrage war erfolgreich.

Dear Sir/Madam,

In line with my right of access to documents in the EU treaties, under Regulation 1049/2001, I would to ask the Commission to make available all evidence documenting the communication (email, fax, letters, reports, briefings), as well as meetings (including minutes), between DG Internal Market (including the Commissioner, Cabinet members, Director General and relevant units) with the following companies/organisations (EuroCommerce, BusinessEurope, UEAPME, The Federation of German Employers (BDA), Global Reporting Initiative, Royal Dutch Shell) from September 2009 to the very present, relative to the issue of ‘non-financial reporting’.

Thank you.
Sincerely,
Kim Bizzarri

Dear Mr Bizzarri,

Subject: Your applications for access to documents – Ref GestDem No
2013/913 and 2013/1030

We refer to your e-mail dated 15/2/2013 and 22/2/2013 in which you make 2
requests for access to documents, registered on 19/2/2013 and 25/2/2013
under the above mentioned reference numbers.

Your applications are currently being handled. However, we will not be in
a position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expire on 12/3/2013 and 18/3/2013.
An extended time limit is needed as your applications concern a large
number of documents which have to be examined.

Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 5/4/2013 and
11/4/2013.

We apologise for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.

Yours sincerely,

Massimo Zaffiro

Dear Internal Market and Services (MARKT),

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Internal Market and Services (MARKT)'s handling of my FOI request 'Non-Financial Reporting'.

Despite several emails (which have been diligently ignored by DG MARKT) and phone calls, DG MARKT has failed to provide me with the documents requested. No reason for the delay has been given.

I find this behaviour uncooperative and in breach of the Commission's own rules on Access to Documents requests and of its committment to 'Good Governance'.

I expect DG MARKT to write to me immediately to explain why it has failed to meet both its extended deadlines and to release the documents requested with immediate effect.

Yours faithfully,

Kim Bizzarri

Dear Internal Market and Services (MARKT),

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Internal Market and Services (MARKT)'s handling of my FOI request 'Non-Financial Reporting'.

I disagree with the Commission's decision not to disclose the documents requested and would like to challenge DG MARKT's reasons for doing so as I find its motivations unreasonable and justified.

Yours faithfully,

Kim Bizzarri
