Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,

Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,
thank you for your reply. You state that a "postal address [...] is required for registering and handling your request in line with the procedural requirements."
Regulation 1049/2001 does not have such a requirement.
The Ombudsperson has decided in case 682/2014/JF that "The Commission’s requirement that all persons who ask for public access to documents must provide their postal address for its paper post sending arrangements, is maladministration."
Please confirm that your request to have me send a postal address was sent in error and that such request is void.
Please confirm the registration of my access to documents request.
In order to not delay my request any further, here is a postal address that you can use: netzpolitik.org, Rue de la Loi 155, 1040 Bruxelles, Belgium.
Yours faithfully,
Alexander Fanta
