Dear Human Resources and Security,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

1. Specific legal reference to a specific legal act under which the European Commission (EC) has the right to refer its staff to its Occupational Health Service to advise on appropriate workplace measures/adjustments.

2. Specific legal reference to the right to a remedy/recourse of EC staff sent to Occupational Service for advise on appropriate workplace measures/adjustments in instances where EC staff member considers the conclusions of the Occupational Health Service arranged by the EC to be unjustified for example in instance where his/her medical doctor (general practitioner) is of a different opinion than that of Occupational Health Service.

3. Practical guide/note any any other documents containing further explanation on the implementation and applicability of Article 59 of the Staff Regulations in the European Commission.
