Petty cash transactions made in the year 2018-2020

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
access to all petty cash transactions made in the year 2018-2020 by the Authority and the underlying receipts.

the ask EU website, by means of which you requested access to “all petty
cash transactions made in the year 2018-2020 by the Authority and the
underlying receipts.”
Your request has been registered as PAD 2020/079 and is being processed as
quickly as possible in accordance with [1]Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001
regarding public access to documents.
However, we regret to inform you that due to the fact that we are still
gathering the elements pertaining to the processing of your request, we
have to extend the deadline to reply to your request by 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of the PAD Regulation.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by this delay.
We will revert to you by 18 August 2020 at the latest.

Dear Mr Kossow
I refer to your request for access to documents of 7 July 2020, sent
through the “Ask the EU” website, registered as PAD 2020/079, by means of
which you requested access to “all petty cash transactions made in the
year 2018-2020 by the Authority and the underlying receipts.”
We have assessed your request in accordance with [2]Regulation (EC) No
1049/2001 regarding public access to documents and after internal
verification on the existence of any document pertaining to the scope of
your request, I should inform you that EFSA has not done any petty cash
transactions during the years 2018-2020, EFSA doesn’t hold a petty cash,
therefore is not in possession of any such receipts. Please note that in
application of the case law of the Union Courts, a presumption of legality
is attached to any statement made by an Institution concerning the

inform you of the outcome of this re-examination of your request within
fifteen working days of receipt. In this case, you will also be informed
of any further appeal routes available.
