Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, in relation to the implementation of the project “Recovery, Stability and socio-economic development in Libya (T05-EUTF-NOA-LY-05 )”I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

- Timelines of the project (start and end date of implementation)
- In-depth Guidelines/minutes of meetings on how to carry out the activities generically indicated in the Action Documents of projects;
- Any agreement signed between the EU and the Italian Cooperation (AICS)
- Any agreement signed between the EU (or AICS) and third parties
- Any tenders, bids and contracts between the EU (or AICS) with private security companies
- Information concerning detailed activities that are being implemented by the Italian Cooperation (AICS) and the local partners
- Monitoring reports on performed activities
- Minutes of the meetings of the Operational Committee, as the body responsible for reviewing and approving the actions financed by the EUTF, and evaluating reports of the impact of this project on migrants and refugees
- Financial reports detailing the expenditure items of the €50,000,000 budget so far invested in the project, in particular the €22,000,000, received by AICS

Dear Ms Pacciardi,

 

We refer to your applications dated 7 April 2020 in which you make three
requests for access to documents, registered on 14 April 2020 under the
above mentioned reference numbers.

Your applications are currently being handled. The 15 working-days time
limit for the handling of your applications expires today.

However, an extended time limit is needed for the purpose of internal
consultations.

Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents.

The new time limit expires on 29 May 2020.
