Projects/programmes benefiting persons with disabilities
Dear Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
Details of projects or programmes benefiting persons with disabilities (including children with disabilities), during 2014 - 2020.
More specifically, we are looking into how the EU development funding benefitted persons with disabilities, especially in relation to the process of deinstitutionalisation ( also referred to as 'transition from institutional to community-based care'). Therefore, we would appreciate to receive information of any calls/funding opportunities, or related documents, under the management of DG ECHO, which have been designated to benefit persons with disabilities.
As part of this request, we are also interested in funding provided to address the impact of COVID-19 on this group of persons.
Yours faithfully,
Ines Bulic Cojocariu
