RePowerEU funding for offshore gas exploration in Israel/Palestine waters
Dear Economic and Financial Affairs,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting any documents regarding RePowerEU funding for natural gas exploration projects in Israel, the Occupied Palestinian Territories or the coastal waters of either. I note in this context that Italian company ENI was recently awarded an exploration licence for gas in coastal waters close to Israel/Palestine. I seek any document related to this exploration project.
Yours faithfully,
Alexander Fanta
