Dear Mr Mc Crory,

You have already received a reply to your request from the Directorate-General for Budget (email of 18 May 2017).

Regarding your additional questions, submitted with email of 4 June, DG Budget asked us to come back to you.

We have extended the deadline for reply under the Code of Good administrative behaviour with our holding reply (email of 29 June).

As regards the value projects realised in the UK that are partly financed by the EU budget (as well as national co-financing), DG BUDG has already responded to you by referring to a study on the impact of cohesion policy investment in the UK.

In DG ECFIN, we are not aware of documents containing more specific information.

If you are interested in more detailed information we suggest you to address the DGs that are responsible for managing the main EU spending programmes (e.g. DG Agriculture, DG MOVE (transport) and DG Research and Technological Development (RTD)).

Another good source of information is the country reports for each MS established by the Commission services in the framework of the European Semester:

You will find there boxes on the contribution of EU spending to structural change in the respective MS.

We hope, these clarifications are useful and satisfy your interest.

Yours sincerely,
