Roma infringement case versus France in 2010
Dear Competition (COMP),
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as
developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting access to any
documents exchanged between the European Commission and the French
authorities concerning the launch of infringement proceedings related
to Roma deportations in September 2010.
I am a journalist based in Brussels and I believe it is in the public
interest to see with what level of vigour and on what legal basis the
commission pursued this landmark case against a powerful member state.
Please send the documents to me in electronic format.
Yours faithfully,
Andrew Rettman
