Sweatshops in Europe
Dear Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
1)Any record about the number of sweatshops or garment factories with poverty wages identified by the European Union inside its borders.
2)Where are these factories located. The Clean Clothes campaign annual report shows that countries like Bulgaria and Romania host these kind of industries.
