The Human Rights Compatibility Test
Dear Committee of the Regions,
For the attention of the European Committee of Social Rights.
I would like to bring to the Committee’s attention a matter of grave concern which involves the revocation of section 56 of Offences Against The Person Act 1861- http://bit.ly/2zS22f0.
Thousands of mothers, including myself, have had their children stolen from them either by local authorities or abusive ex-partners. Whilst this causes much harm, aggravation and torture to families especially innocent children, courts such as Barnet Civil and Family Court in London authorises and allow these practices to permeate and defame the justice system, inevitably undermining the public’s confidence in the court process.
Here is a video link to one of the 3 attempts to kidnap my baby http://bit.ly/2gOq7vF .
Since that third attempt, the nonresident parent was assisted by Barnet Family Court to successfully carry out another parental kidnapping/child stealing on the 5th March 2017. Since then, no efforts have been made by any authority to return my daughter.
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
1) Please provide any documents that supports the revocation of section 56 of Offences Against the Person Act 1861 and that confirms the revocation as compatible with the European Convention on Human Rights?
2) As neither the Ministry of Justice (MOJ), Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Services Customer Investigations (HMCTS Customer Investigation), Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) nor the Joint Committee on Human Rights in the UK Parliament are prepared to adhere to their duties and obligations as set out in the European Convention on Human rights and support victims of Fraud on the Court, please provide any documents with information of alternative authorities that will offer remedial assistance?
I look forward to your response.
With respect ad gratitude,
K Wood

Dear transparence,
Thank you for your prompt response, for clarifying the functions of the European Committee of the Regions and for confirming the appropriate institution to direct my FOI. I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I am truly grateful for your cooperation and for any further assistance.

Dear Mr./Mrs. Wood,
The European Committee of Social Right sis a body of the Council of Europe, an international organization that parallels the European Union, but it is not a body of the European Union itself: thus, it is impossible for us to assist you in lodging your enquiry.
