Dear Mr Spekschoor,
We refer to your e-mail dated 24/01/2020 in which you make a request for access to documents, registered on 03/02/2020 under the reference number GESTDEM 2020 0605.
In particular, you request access to “All communication between the Netherlands and the European Commission on Directive 2014/45/EU since 2014.”
The description given in your application does not enable us to identify concrete documents which would correspond to your request.
We therefore invite you, pursuant to Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to documents, to provide us with more detailed information on the documents which you seek to obtain, such as:
• Is there any topic you are interested in specifically?
• Would you like to have access to exchanges between the Netherlands and the Commission exclusively or also to exchanges which concern other Member States as well (e.g. invitations to meetings, discussion papers, minutes etc.) ?
• Other references, persons or bodies who drafted the documents or any other specifications.
In accordance with Article 2, third paragraph of the Implementing Rules to Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001[1] (Official Journal L 345 of 29.12.2001, p. 94), the 15 working days time limit for handling your application will start running when we receive the requested clarifications.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Dear sir, madam,
I'm sorry for the belated reply, but here is finally an answer to your email.
I'm looking into Directive 2014/45/EU, because it has not yet been implemented in the Netherlands, although it had to be implemented before June 2017. As far as my information goes, the Commission has send a letter of formal notice to the Netherlands in July 2017. I'd like to see that letter, the answers that have followed from the Netherlands, and further letters by the Commission. If there were any meetings following the letter of formal notice, I'd like to see the minutes.
I hope I've given you enough information. If not, please don't hesitate to email or call me again.
Yours faithfully,
Thomas Spekschoor
