We  refer  to  your  e-mail  of  18  May  2022  in  which  you  make  a  request  for  access  to 
documents, registered on 19 May 2022 under the above-mentioned reference number. 
You  request  access  to:  “All  documents  -  including  but  not  limited  to  minutes,  (hand-
written) notes, audio recordings, verbatim reports, operational conclusions, lines to take, 
e-mails,  and  presentations,  correspondence  (i.e.  any  emails,  correspondence,  telephone 
call  notes,  and/or  text  messages  including  WhatsApp  exchanges)  -  related  to  the 
following meetings of the Commissioners and the cabinets since 27 January, 2020 with: 

1. Royal Caribbean Cruises 
2. Cruise Lines International Association Europe (CLIA Europe)”. 
We  regret  to  inform  you  that  the  Directorate-General  for  Internal  Market,  Industry, 
Entrepreneurship  and  SMES  (DG  GROW)  does  not  hold  any  documents  that  would 
correspond to the description given in your application.  
As  specified  in  Article  2(3)  of  Regulation  (EC)  No  1049/2001,  the  right  of  access  as 
defined  in  that  regulation  applies  only  to  existing  documents  in  the  possession  of  the 
institution.  
Given  that  no  such  documents,  corresponding  to  the  description  given  in  your 
application,  are  held  by  DG  GROW,  DG  GROW  is  not  in  a  position  to  fulfil  your
