It was a pleasure to meet with you (and for the  rst time in person!) at Google’s Mountain View o ces
last week. I appreciated the chance to discuss your upcoming EU legislation to strengthen the  ght
against child sexual abuse and exploitation.
This is a key priority for Google and I was pleased that we could share with you some details about our
e o s to combat this crime, our continued work to innovate in this space, and how we are working to
help others to do their pa .  Fighting child sexual abuse and exploitation involves a col ective e o  and
a framework that can suppo  e o s to innovate, col aborate, and problem-solve.
I know you are planning to visit our Google Safety Engineering Center (GSEC) for Content Responsibility
in Dublin on the 8th of February. We look forward to hosting you and the team is eager to provide more
information about our approach to combating child sexual abuse and exploitation, and how the
upcoming legislation can suppo  our joint commitment to ensure children stay safe.
