System (ETS). 
 
Minutes of the meeting: 
During the meeting the issue of importance of maintaining steel safeguards was raised from 
Arcelor  Mittal  side,  as  well  as  main  potential  major  drawbacks in  case  CBAM  is  not 
sufficiently effective, also risks of circumvention were presented. Arcelor Mittal emphasized 
the importance of maintaining free allowances under ETS. On our side we presented the state 
of play regarding the adoption of CBAM.
